Hi, this club has wide interest on different theoretical research problems in Physics. Group members are PhD students, MSc, BTech students of IIT Bhilai (IITBH) and other collaborators from outside IITBH.

Present PhD/MSc/Intern students :
Ashutosh Dwibedi (PhD, IIT Bhilai)
He has joined from July, 2022 as PhD student of IIT Bhilai. He is engaged in the theoretical calculation based on relaxation time approximation (RTA) of kinetic theory approach to describe relativistic matter like QGP at finite magnetic field and vorticity.
Cho Win Aung (Asean PhD, IIT Bhilai)
He has joined from January, 2021 as an Asean PhD Fellow of IIT Bhilai. He is working on electron hydrodynamic phenomenology in graphene system.
Thandar Zaw Win has joined in Jan, 2022 as Asean PhD student of IIT Bhilai and her research topic is “Thermodynamical properties of graphene-like system“.
Dani Rose J Marattukalam has joined in July, 2023 as PhD student.
Past PhD/MSc/Intern students (actively collaborated):
Jayanta Dey (2018-21, PhD, IIT Bhilai)
He has joined from July, 2018 as PhD student of IIT Bhilai. He is engaged in the theoretical calculation based on relaxation time approximation (RTA) of kinetic theory approach to find out expressions of shear viscosity, electrical conductivity etc. in presence of magnetic field. His works are documented in 7 articles (2 PRD, 2 PRC, 1 IJMPE, 1 Pramana, 1 NPA) and 6 proceedings papers. After submitting his PhD thesis in Dec, 2021, he (as a visiting fellow) went to NISER (mentor – Prof. Victor Roy), then from July, 2022, he is doing his postdoctoral research in IIT Indore (mentor – Prof. Raghunath Sahu). During his post-PhD platform we have 4 collaborative papers.
Sarthak Satapathy (2019-21, PhD, IIT Bhilai)
He has joined from January, 2019 as PhD student of IIT Bhilai. He is engaged in the theoretical calculation based on Kubo framework to find out expressions of electrical conductivity in presence of magnetic field. His works are documented in 6 articles (1 JPG, 2 PRD, 1 IJMPE, 1 Pramana, 1 PRC ) and 6 proceedings papers. After submitting his PhD thesis in Dec, 2021, he was working (Feb, 2022- Feb, 2023) his pot-PhD research as a project fellow in Bongan College, West Bengal (mentor – Prof. Sudipan Dey) and the at present (Feb, 2023- present) post doctoral fellow in IIT Roorkee (mentor – Prof. Binoy K. Patra). During his post-PhD platform we have 1 collaborative paper.
Gaurav (MSc 2021-23, IIT Bhilai) has joined in July, 2022 as MSc project student in our group and his research topic is “Statistical Mechanical aspects of graphene-like system“. His collaborative works are submitted in 3 journal papers. At present he is engaged in his home town (in Rajasthan) to build his dream project – Couching Center.
Anita Tamang did MSc from IIT Bhilai (2019-21) and her MSc project works are published in 2 conference proceeding papers. Then, she joined as PhD in Guwahati University.
Souvik Paul (BS-MS, IISER Kolkata, 2017-22) came IIT Bhilai during May-July 2019 (continuing distant collaboration) as summer student. His works are documented in 3 articles (published in JPG, IJMPE and Pramana) and 5 proceedings papers. Recently he has joined as PhD student under supervision of Prof. Jia in Stony Brook, USA.
Prashanta Murmu (MSc, ISM Dhanbad 2018-20) came IIT Bhilai during May-July 2019 (continuing distant collaboration) as summer student. His works are documented in 1 articles ( published in Pramana) and 1 proceedings paper. Recently (June,2022-present) he has joined as JRF position under supervision of Dr. Garima and Dr. Aritra.

Ankita Mishra (BTech, GGU, 2017-21) came IIT Bhilai during May-July 2019 as summer student. Her works are documented in 1 article (published in IJMPE) and 2 proceedings papers . At present She is doing PhD in the ME department of IIT Bhilai.
Ranjesh Kumar (BS-MS, IISER Kolkata, 2017-22) came IIT Bhilai during May-July 2019 as summer student. Her works are documented in 1 article (published in JPG) and 1 proceedings paper.

Akash Gupta (BTech, IIT Bhilai, 2016-20) did collaborative work on Astro Physics and published 1 article (NPA). Presently, he is doing his MSc (2020-present) in LMU, Germany.
Naman Pujari (BTech, IIT Bhilai, 2017-21) did collaborative work on Astro Physics and published 1 article (NPA). Presently, he is doing his MSc (2021-present) in LMU, Germany.
Aditya Rajesh (BTech, IIT Bhilai, 2017-21) worked on covid19 data is documented in 1 article (communicated). He is presently doing MTech (2021-present) in Netherland.
